A high pressure system will move eastward through the Southern Ocean during the remainder of the weekend as its associated ridging extends across the south coastal waters. A trough lies near the west coast and will remain in place until Tuesday, when it will start to move inland as the northern end of a cold front brushes past the southwest coast.
