Weather Situation

A high pressure system near New Zealand is directing an easterly airstream over Victorian coastal waters as it extends a ridge over the NSW coast. This pattern is expected to continue until Friday when a weak low pressure trough crosses Victoria and Bass Strait. Another trough and associated low pressure system is expected to approach from the west on Saturday.
