A high in the Bight extends a ridge over Victoria, with a fresh to strong southwesterly flow prevailing over coastal waters. Winds will ease on Tuesday as the high moves eastward, and is expected to be centred over southern Victoria by late Tuesday. The high then moves into the Tasman Sea by late Wednesday, with a strengthening northeast to northerly airstream developing on Thursday.
