- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over the NSW coast will continue moving east as a low pressure system and associated cold front cross the Bight. Northerly winds will strengthen today ahead of the front which is forecast to reach Portland around 1300hrs, Cape Otway 1700hrs and Wilsons Promontory 2300hrs. The front is then expected to reach Gabo Island around 0500hrs Friday before clearing, with a vigorous west to southwesterly airstream to follow. A weak cold front is forecast to clip southern Victoria on Saturday with a high near the Bight expected to approach western Victoria on Sunday.
