- Weather Situation
- A large high pressure system is located over the southern Tasman Sea as a trough associated with a low approaches western Victoria. The trough is forecast to slowly cross Bass Strait on Wednesday as another high crosses waters south of the Bight. The high is expected to be located near western Bass Strait by Thursday night before slowly crossing Bass Strait on Friday. Northerly winds are expected to develop on Saturday as the high moves over the Tasman Sea and a cold front approaches from the west.
