West to northwesterly about 10 knots, tending west to southwesterly during the late morning. Winds reaching up to 20 knots in the far east in the early afternoon. Winds tending southeasterly below 10 knots inshore in the evening.

Below 1 metre, increasing to around 1 metre in the east.

1st Swell

Southwesterly 1 to 1.5 metres, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres in the far west.

Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge will remain over the coastal waters through to Saturday when the centre of the high moves over the Tasman Sea and directs a warm northerly flow over Victoria. A cold front will then approach the State from the west and cross Bass Strait during Sunday before the next ridge builds over the Bight and extends over Victorian coastal waters.
