A low pressure trough off the east Gippsland coast will weaken today. A south to southeasterly airstream west of the trough will tend more easterly late today and on Friday as a high pressure system to the southwest crosses Tasmania. Easterly winds will continue on Saturday as the high moves slowly across the Tasman Sea. A low pressure trough will approach from the west on Sunday.
