- A ridge extends over coastal waters. The associated high pressure system is forecast to move over the southern Tasman Sea during Friday, as a trough and cold front approach across the Bight. The cold front is forecast to enter western coastal waters late on Saturday, then progress eastwards across Bass Strait on Sunday. Another ridge of high pressure extends over Victorian coastal waters from the west on Monday.
