Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the NSW coast will continue moving east as a low pressure system and associated cold front cross the Bight. Northerly winds will strengthen today ahead of the front which is forecast to reach Portland around 1300hrs, Cape Otway 1700hrs and Port Phillip Heads around 1900hrs. The front is then expected to clear eastern Bass Strait on Friday morning with a west to southwesterly airstream to follow. A weak cold front is forecast to clip southern Victoria on Saturday with a high near the Bight expected to approach western Victoria on Sunday.
