A cold front will cross Tasmania this evening, followed by a trough to pass over the state on Friday. A high pressure system over Victoria will then extend a ridge over the state during Saturday. A strong northerly flow will develop on Sunday, ahead of a cold front which is forecast to cross the state on Sunday. Another cold front is then forecast to approach the west of Tasmania by Monday evening.
