A cold front will cross Tasmania today, bringing a cooler south to southeasterly airstream that will continue on Sunday as a ridge extends to the south of the state. A low centre near the NSW coast will move over the Tasman Sea, well to the east of Tasmania, on Monday and remain there during Tuesday as a high centre slowly passes to the south of Tasmania.
