A high pressure centre slowly crosses Tasmania this evening, establishing over the Tasman Sea on Friday and directing a warmer north to northeasterly stream over the state. The airstream tends more northwesterly on Saturday as a trough approaches from the west, crossing early Sunday. The trough remains close to the northeast during Monday as a high over the Bight extends a ridge to the south of Tasmania, directing a southeasterly airstream over the state.
