Weather Situation
A high to the east of Tasmania extends a ridge to the south of the state, with the ridge to weaken early Monday as a cold front approaches from the west. The cold front will cross Tasmania on Tuesday, with another high to approach from the west on Wednesday and move over the state late evening. This high is expected to move over the Tasman Sea on Thursday, with a trough to extend over northwestern Tasmania late in the evening.
