A high pressure system over the Bight extends a ridge over Tasmania. The ridge passes over the state this evening, before moving into the Tasman Sea and loitering to the east over the weekend. On Sunday an additional high forms and passes to the southwest of the state, before combining with the high to the east into Monday.
