A weak ridge of high pressure extends over the state from the west today, ahead of a cold front moving over the state from the south on Sunday. A weak trough will move over Tasmania on Monday, before a ridge directs southerly flow over the state from a high situated in the Bight on Tuesday. The high pressure centre moves closer to the west coast of Tasmania on Wednesday, maintaining ridge conditions.
