Weather Situation

A high pressure ridge in combination with a deep low pressure system in the Tasman Sea is driving southeasterly flow across coastal waters. This ridge will weaken today as a weak front skims the state late tonight into Thursday morning. A new weak ridge will form through Thursday before it is cleared out by a strong cold front entering western waters Friday evening. In the wake of this cold front a stable westerly airstream will establish through Saturday.
