- Weather Situation
- The monsoon trough extends across the northeast tropical coast and is expected to remain slow moving for the next several days. A weak embedded tropical low lies on the trough just inland of the coast and will linger for the next few days. A high [1025 hPa] near New Zealand is maintaining a ridge over the remaining northern waters, and is combining with the trough and embedded low to enhance onshore winds along the tropical east coast.
