A weak low [1006 hPa] in the southern Coral Sea will drift further away from the Queensland coast while deepening over the coming days, with a very weak ridge forming in its wake. An inland tough will move from southern Queensland out over the southern waters from Thursday into Friday. A low is forecast to deepen in the Tasman Sea later this week into this weekend.
