A weak ridge will persist over the South Queensland Waters for the next few days along with a freshening northerly airflow. A trough will move east across inland southern Queensland from Wednesday, and may start to move over the far southeastern waters late Friday or early Saturday. A weak southeasterly change may move over waters south of Cape Moreton on Thursday, ahead of a fresh to strong southeasterly change on Friday.
