Weather Situation

A ridge extends across the NT from a high [1029 hPa] over the Great Australian Bight, resulting in an increase in southeasterly winds over the coastal waters. Winds will start to ease from Sunday as the high moves east and the ridge weakens. From Monday, the ridge will extend over northeastern Australia.
