Weather Situation

A ridge of high pressure lies over the coastal waters today bringing settled conditions. A cold front will reach the southern waters late this evening bringing unsettled weather and a southerly change. This weather will extend to the remainder of the coast as the cold front is forecast to form a low pressure system offshore, affecting the coast until mid week. After this, the system is expected to weaken to a trough and be driven away by a high pressure system moving east along the Southern Ocean.
