- Weather Situation

This system is bringing gale to storm force winds about the far north coast, and large powerful east to northeasterly swells. Winds and surf conditions will gradually ease Saturday after Alfred makes landfall and weakens while heading inland, with a ridge of high pressure developing along the east coast of New South Wales.
