Weather Situation

A ridge is building up across the coast as a high pressure system to the south of the state moves to the Tasman Sea, with winds turning from easterly to northerly and increasing through the weekend as a cold front approaches from the west. The front will enter the far south coast late Sunday and cross Sydney Waters on Monday, bringing a fresh southerly wind change in its wake. This will be followed by another high pressure ridge extending across the coast through the first half of the next week.
