Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea currently extends a ridge into northeastern New South Wales, directing a northeasterly airstream along the northern coast, while a trough brings a southerly change to southern and central areas today. The trough will stall on the Hunter coast tonight then slowly decay through Thursday as northeasterly winds become reestablished. Another trough and southerly change are forecast to affect the southern half of the coast on the weekend.
