Weather Situation

A southerly change has reached the central areas and is stalling and decaying today. Behind this, coastal winds will gradually shift northeasterly today as a weak high moves over the Tasman Sea, before another southerly change affects the southern half of the coast on Sunday. Onshore winds are expected to dominate the early part of the new week as the next high reaches the Tasman Sea, likely tending southerly mid-week as a weak low pressure system develops offshore.
