Weather Situation
A high pressure system with a ridge over the Tasman Sea extends into far northeastern New South Wales, directing a northeasterly airstream along northern and central parts of the coast. A trough along the southeast coast is expected to be stagnant near the coast while deepening early this week, maintaining onshore east to southeasterly winds along the southern part of the coast.
