Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards the north coast, bringing fresh north to northeasterly winds to much of the New South Wales coast. On Monday a trough and cold front look set to bring a fresh to strong and gusty southerly change to southern waters in the afternoon or evening, which will continue to move north on Tuesday. After this the trough may stall over the northern half of the coast, with an embedded low pressure system possibly forming.
