Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea is extending a ridge over New South Wales directing northeast to southeasterly winds over the coastal waters. A trough will bring a weak southerly change to the southern and central parts of the coast on Friday and Saturday before decaying, with winds shifting northeasterly again from Sunday. Meanwhile, another weak trough is expected to develop off the northern NSW coast over the weekend, with strengthening southeasterly winds. This trough is expected to decay early next week.
