Weather Situation

A series of high pressure systems entering the Tasman Sea will maintain easterly flow over the next couple of days. A cold front is forecast to pass to the south of the state midweek, with its associated trough brushing the south coast on Thursday, driving a weak southerly change before weakening. This will be followed by another high pressure system that will enter the Tasman Sea later in the week, maintaining north to northeasterly flow across the coast until the next cold front that looks set to cross the coast later in the weekend through the early new week.
