- Weather Situation
- A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards the north coast, bringing fresh north to northeasterly winds to much of the New South Wales coast, while a trough and its associated cold front that entered the south coast are heading north, with a fresh and gusty southerly change in its wake. The system is forecast to move to the north coast today and stall, while another high pressure system over the Bight will drift across Tasmania. Then, the remnant feature of the change will linger off the northern or central parts of the coast through the midweek, while the high will enter the southern Tasman Sea and extend a ridge to the south coast.
