- Weather Situation
- A low pressure system is deepening offshore and rapidly moving across the Tasman Sea while its associated trough is crossing the far north coast and heading to southeast Queensland. Then, a high pressure system building along the coast will slowly drift across the Tasman Sea and extend a ridge across the east during the weekend through the early next week, directing east to northeasterly winds much of the coast, although an incursion of a trough may bring a brief southerly winds along the far south coast. A cold front and its associated trough look set to bring a fresh and gusty southerly wind change to the southern and central parts of the coast on Tuesday before stalling along the north coast mid next week.
