- Weather Situation
- A trough near the Hunter and Macquarie Coasts is weakening as a high pressure system entering the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the coast. During the weekend, winds will become fresh north to northeasterly as the high slowly drifts across the Tasman Sea ahead of the next trough that will enter the far south coast late Sunday. The trough will cross the southern half of the coast on Mon, with a southerly wind change in its wake, before stalling about the central parts of the coast on Tuesday and weakening through the midweek.
