Weather Situation

A low pressure system lies offshore bringing fresh south to southeasterly winds to the southern and central parts of the coast, strong at times on the Mid North Coast. Winds will ease and become easterly from later in the day as the low moves to the northeast and a broad ridge forms over NSW. The ridge strengthens later in the week bringing north to northeasterly winds.
