Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea currently extends a weak ridge over the NSW coast, maintaining generally northeasterly winds over the next couple of days. North to northeasterly winds are forecast to strengthen later in the week as the system deepens ahead of the next cold front. This front and its associated trough are expected to bring a gusty southerly change along the coast later in the weekend and into early next week. A high behind the the cold front will extend a ridge along the coast early next week.
