A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards the north coast, bringing fresh north to northeasterly winds to much of the New South Wales coast. On Monday a trough and cold front look set to bring a fresh to strong and gusty southerly change to southern waters in the afternoon or evening, which will continue to move north on Tuesday.
