- Weather Situation
- The monsoon trough extends across north Queensland, and will linger across the northern Queensland waters for several days, while gradually drifting northward during the first half of next week. A weak tropical low may form within the trough off the northeast tropical coast, which may linger before moving further offshore and away from the east coast tomorrow into Monday. A high [1017 hPa] near New Zealand is maintaining a weak ridge over the remaining northern waters.
