A low pressure system over the Tasman Sea will deepen further today and move south, bringing vigorous southerly winds and hazardous surf conditions to southern and central waters. This low is forecast to become more complex and weaken as it lingers over the southern Tasman Sea during the first half of the week, with winds easing.
