RENEWED MAJOR FLOODING AT MARION DOWNS THIS WEEK

MODERATE FLOODING LIKELY AT GLENGYLE WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON

Moderate flooding is easing at Marion Downs, with renewed major flooding likely as upstream floodwaters arrive. A second flood peak is downstream of Bedourie, where moderate flooding is easing. River levels are rising at Glengyle where a moderate flood peak is likely during Thursday, above the Glengyle Bridge.

The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Georgina River to Marion Downs

River levels are rising across the Georgina River to Marion Downs with moderate flooding at Roxborough Downs and Glenormiston.

Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs

Elevated river and creek levels are occurring along the Georgina River downstream of Marion Downs as floodwaters continue to arrive from upstream.

Eyre Creek

Moderate flooding is occurring along the Eyre Creek.
