MAJOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT AUGATHELLA LATE THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT CHARLEVILLE
MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT CUNNAMULLA WITH A MAJOR FLOOD PEAK AROUND 9.70 METRES POSSIBLE THURSDAY MORNING
MAJOR FLOODING OCCURRING AT ROCKY WITH A MAJOR FLOOD PEAK AROUND 5.40 METRES POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY
RENEWED MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BAKERS BEND LATE THURSDAY MORNING
Moderate to locally heavy rainfall has been observed across the Warrego River catchment, including the Langlo and Ward Rivers, over the last week. This has resulted in river and creek level rises across the catchment. The main flood peak is currently around Cunnamulla, where major flooding is occurring.
The situation is being closely monitored and forecasts will be updated as required.
Warrego River to Charleville
Major flooding may occur along the Warrego River to Charleville, major flooding occurring at the 27 Mile Garden. Moderate flooding is occurring along the Nive River at Biddenham.
Langlo and Ward Rivers
Minor flooding is rising along the Langlo River around Warilda, and moderate flooding is occurring at Binnowee.
Warrego River downstream of Charleville
Major flooding is occurring along the Warrego River downstream of Charleville.
