Weather Situation

A strong southwesterly flow persists over Tasmania this evening, continuing into Monday. A ridge of high pressure is forecast to extend over the state on Tuesday as the high centre moves through Bass Strait, and out to the Tasman Sea by Wednesday. A trough with a cool southerly change is expected to move over Tasmania late Thursday.
