- Weather Situation
- A deep low pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is bringing fresh to strong south to southwesterly winds and large powerful waves to the coastal waters. Winds and surf conditions will gradually ease from today as the low slowly moves further southeast and weakens. Another trough over Queensland is forecast to move southwards, extending to northern New South Wales on Wednesday and moves offshore. Then, a trough of low pressure looks set to bring a brief southerly wind change along the southern half of the coast early Friday, followed by another cold front bringing a fresh and gusty west to southwesterly change on Saturday.
