Cyclone Debbie downgraded to tropical low, but still delivering damaging winds and heavy rain

Cyclone Debbie has been downgraded to a tropical low system after crossing the north Queensland coast yesterday.

The Bureau of Meteorology warns gales will continue across coastal and inland Queensland in the cyclone's path, and heavy rain may continue for 24 hours.
